The team at Fortitude CCSS believe everyone, at some point in life, can benefit from counseling and make positive changes. Life happens and it can be very, very difficult and even totally overwhelming from time to time. Counseling can help you navigate through those challenging times. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, overcoming abuse or a history of violence, behavioral issues, grief, difficulty adjusting, or just need to learn more healthy and effective coping skills, please do consider giving counseling a try.
Clients find our approach to counseling unique in how we seek to collaborate with them on their healing journey. Additionally, our clinicians work as a unit, never unilaterally, to help the people we serve. Our team has over 50 years combined experience, so we know the power and value of putting heads together. Fortitude CCSS has a team of counselors eager to help and we are accepting new clients.
Fortitude CCSS serves people of all ages. However, sometimes children under the age of four are not quite ready or suitable for counseling. A consultation with a counselor about your child is oftentimes necessary to discern timing and best approach to care.

Fortitude CCSS began as a part time private practice over fifteen years ago and was established by Chana A. Land, M.Ed., LPC, LPCS. Chana was under the guidance and mentorship of Drs. Ray & Susan Addison of Grace Counseling, both of whom helped train her as a Biblical based Christian counselor for over ten years. Fortitude CCSS was launched as a full-time private practice in August 2019 at the same time Drs. Ray & Susan Addison retired from counseling. We are now a growing private group practice of six mental health counselors and an administrative coordinator.
